Welcome to LAKELAND SPORTS LIMITED. (operating via lakelandsportsshop.com). We aim to get your sports gear and apparel into your hands as quickly as possible so you can get back to the game. This policy outlines our shipping procedures, costs, and timelines.

1. GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION

All orders are processed and dispatched from our retail store and warehouse located at:
44 High Street, Glenholme, Rotorua 3010, New Zealand.

We ship Monday through Friday, excluding New Zealand public holidays.

2. ORDER PROCESSING TIMES

  • Standard Items: Orders for in-stock sports gear and apparel are typically processed within 1–2 business days.
  • Restringing/Customization: For tennis, squash, or badminton rackets requiring custom restringing, please allow an additional 2–3 business days for processing.
  • Peak Periods: During major sales (e.g., Black Friday, EOFY) or peak sporting seasons, processing may take up to 4 business days.

3. SHIPPING RATES & DELIVERY ESTIMATES (NEW ZEALAND)

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order.

A. North Island (Standard)

  • Estimated Delivery: 1–3 business days after dispatch.
  • Rotorua Local: 1 business day or available for free Click & Collect.

B. South Island (Standard)

  • Estimated Delivery: 3–5 business days after dispatch.

C. Rural Delivery (RD Addresses)

  • Additional Time: Please allow an extra 2–3 business days for deliveries to rural addresses.
  • Surcharges: Rural deliveries incur an additional surcharge, which will be automatically calculated at checkout when you enter your RD postcode.

4. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We currently offer international shipping for lightweight sports apparel and accessories to Australia and select Pacific Islands.

  • Australia: 5–10 business days.
  • Rest of World: Please contact us at hummingbirds@lakelandsportsshop.com for a custom quote.
  • Note: We do not ship oversized sports equipment (e.g., basketball hoops, fitness machines) internationally.

5. CUSTOMS, DUTIES, AND TAXES

LAKELAND SPORTS LIMITED. is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order.
All fees imposed during or after shipping (tariffs, taxes, VAT, etc.) are the responsibility of the customer.

6. SHIPMENT TRACKING

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a Shipping Confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to the courier’s portal (e.g., NZ Post or Aramex).

7. OVERSIZED & HEAVY ITEMS

Specific sports equipment (such as weights, heavy bags, or large sports nets) are classified as “Oversized.”

  • These items may require a specialized freight carrier.
  • Delivery to rural areas for oversized items may be limited to the nearest freight depot. Our team will contact you at +64 272258125 if special arrangements are needed.

8. DELIVERY ADDRESS & SIGNATURES

  • No P.O. Boxes: We cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes or Private Bags. A physical street address is required.
  • Signature Required: For high-value sports gear, we default to “Signature Required” delivery. If you choose “Authority to Leave” (ATL), LAKELAND SPORTS LIMITED. is not liable for any lost or stolen packages once marked as delivered.

9. DAMAGED OR LOST SHIPMENTS

  • Damaged in Transit: If your gear arrives damaged, please report it to us within 48 hours at hummingbirds@lakelandsportsshop.com with photos of the packaging and product.
  • Non-Delivery: If your order hasn’t arrived within 10 business days of dispatch, please notify us so we can initiate an inquiry with the courier.

10. CANCELLATIONS

Once an order has been picked and packed for shipment, it cannot be canceled. If you no longer wish to receive the items, you must receive the delivery and then follow our Refund and Returns Policy to return the physical items to our Rotorua address.
